An order form for tickets for the Chicken BBQ Dinner is available now on both the Memorabilia and Event Description Tabs. The dinner is available for either take-out or to eat under the tent at the Old School.
Deadline for purchasing dinner tickets was July 20. If someone has to turn back a ticket they would be available at Registration. Tickets may be picked up at Registration or at the dinner itself.
Memorabilia: Cronin Company has been the place to go to order all our OHW Memorabilia - 2021 T-shirts, 2020 Limited Edition shirts and totes and two styles of glasses. But now we will have memorabilia for sale at Memorial Hall during Registration, at Adams Farm on Thursday night and after the parade under the tent.
Silent Auction of 25 very special items made by our local artists will run in the weeks preceding OHW and will end Saturday afternoon, Aug. 7th. All bids must be made in person. See the Calendar below for times to view the items and the Event Description Tab for more information.
The Trail Committee has some great special activities for all ages and abilities during OHW!

4:00 - 5:00 Twin Valley Elementary School (formerly DVES) Tour. Join former Deerfield Valley Elementary School teacher and principal Kathy Larsen for a tour of the renovated building. Renew memories of the old building and see the new classrooms as well as the added cafeteria, art room, and music room. Preregistration required. See details in Event Descriptions.

11:00 Parade - The parade starts on Route 9 West at Chimney Hill Road through the center of town and ends at the Old School Community Building. Afternoon:
At the Old School Community Building and field immediately following the Parade and throughout the afternoon:
1:00 - 4:00 Fun & Games on the field. Games, Food, Live Entertainment. A great time to visit!
1:30 Town Photograph - all invited. Following the Town Photo, Family, Friends & Class Photos will be taken. At the field.

Biggest Tree Contest - Deadline for sending in entry is Aug. 2. Certificate will be awarded at the Town Chicken Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 7th. To enter, pick up an entry form at the Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce or Boyd Farm. You may also enter by emailing [email protected] with: A photo of your tree; The circumference of the tree as measured 4.5 ft from the ground; The location of the tree and if it is on private or public land and what is special to you about this tree.
Through-out OHW - Stroll along the Hoot, Toot, and Whistle Trail to enjoy the beauty of nature, complimented by a selection of poetry curated by Pettee Memorial Library.
Through-out OHW and beyond! The Wilmington Trail Committee has completed its self-guided Tree Walk for Old Home Week, so it's ready for use anytime. It's located in the Town Forest above Green Mountain Beach. Details are at http://wilmingtontrails.org/trees <http://wilmingtontrails.org/trees>. The Trail Committee will also have a display at Memorial Hall including maps of all our Town Trails. If you haven't been in town for a few years you will be amazed how much the Committee has accomplished.
Starting Thursday, August 5th, read From Dawn to Dusk by Natalie Kinsey-Warnock as you walk the Hoot, Toot, and Whistle Trail. This great family activity will be displayed continuously during Old Home Week.
Thursday, Aug. 5th 8:00 on the Pettee Memorial Library Lawn Movie Under the Stars - Ratatouille . Please bring your own chairs/blankets. FREE.
Beginning Friday afternoon at 4 PM and go through Sunday at noon. Friends of Pettee Memorial Library Annual Book Sale – happening all weekend long on the library lawn! Many books to choose from and volume discounts.Featuring an art and quilt raffle.

Friday, Aug. 6th at about 5:45 - Bash the Trash at the OHW Village Night/Blueberry Block Party – A very special trio will perform on the library lawn around 5:45 PM, featuring Bash the Trash co-founders John Bertles and Carina Piaggio (and long-time Wilmington second home owners) along with Lyn Bertles, who leads the West Coast contingent of BTT. Enjoy a sweet bluegrass show during the Wyld Nightz Band’s break.
Friday, August 6th from 8 pm to 11 pm at the After Party at the Old Red Mill. The Class of 1980 + or - (like '78, '79, '81, '82) are going to dance the night away at the Old Red Mill to the sounds of Peter Miles! That will be after the Village Night/Block Party. Saturday, August 7th from 8:30 to 10:00 at the former Ludington and VT Barnboard site. Randy Schoonmaker, co-author of the book 45 Mill Street, will give a history of the old Barnboard site at 8:30 am followed by a tour of the MOOver facility. Light refreshments will be served.
Saturday, August 7th - An hour before and after the Parade: St Mary’s in-the-Mountains Episcopal Church (EC) invites you to visit their old historic church building located at 13 East Main Street.Although the building is currently under the stewardship of St Mary’s EC, for most of its existence was the Congregational Church of Wilmington. Come hear the history of this extraordinary building, a gift from the Congregational Church. How the building was restored to its original color scheme, and see and hear the story of the newly restored vintage Nativity figures and their amazing journey from a local COOMBS family sugar house to Chapman’s Barn to St Mary’s.
Saturday, August 7th afternoon after the parade on the field- The Beaver Brook Children's School will have a table with information about their new program and jobs. More info: contact [email protected] " They will also have information in the lobby of the Old School and you will be able to peek into their space (presently under construction) in the Old School building.

Natalie will speak about stories from her family and how her grandmother inspired her first book, The Canada Geese Quilt. Saturday, August 7th at 6:00 Class of 2000 Reunion. Meet at the Boyd Family Farm 6-7 to dig up the time capsule buried by the DVES kids in our class in third grade. Then meet at DJ's ( 10 Riley Boyd Rd) to open it, and catch up on the last couple of decades. Theres a great fire pit, trampoline, volleyball, horse shoes, and lots of yard games. Bring partners, kids, and friends a snack to share and a tent or camper if ya wanna party like we used to.
